Go to the northeast, north and east twice to return to the dryad. The next step is to head to the Fell Wood again. Let's assume that you will be doing this quest. Once you have the quest, you can fight him, since he comes back the next morning with no recollection of what previously happened.Īlternately, a bard can compose a ballad about him and he'll leave without you having to do the quest. Apparently some thief took his drinking horn and he won't leave the world until he has it back. Then head to the southwest and talk to Sordirsin, the wight in question here, about his problems. He wants you to deal with a wight that keeps coming back to life. Wrap up this quest and get ready for the next one. You should also have gotten the pelt that Jari needs. Return to the village and talk to Venla and Suoma. Kill her to get some free scrolls and to save the children. Cast a holding spell on her and she will stop this behaviour. She will however start teleporting about, making her very hard to hit. Once she hits the northwestern corner of the map you will have to fight her last group of monsters. Once the monsters are dead you can heal your wounds before charging off to fight her again. Just deal with the monsters that she sends at you and have an archer chase her away. These monsters include snow trolls, umber hulks, frost salamanders and wolves. This is how the battle goes - she teleports to the west, and every time that you get close to her, she summons a lot of monsters. Kill her 'son' and heal up before you exit the tent. She leaves you to deal with her 'son', and teleports out the door. Unfortunately for her, a child escapes at that exact moment, and Limha gets very hostile, very fast. Talk to Limha and she'll deny what you were told. The dryad will tell you the truth about Limha and will send you on your way. To find the dryad you will have to follow this route through the forest - northwest, north, east, and east. If you ever get lost, just go to the southwest until you get out. Also, you can't go further into the forest than the current quest you are on will allow. The place is full of traps that can't be disarmed, and full of monsters that can't be killed. The forest is a maze of similarly looking areas that can lead you in circles. Now it is time to enter the Fell Wood via the eastern exit. Do not talk to her with a paladin, unless you want to end this quest really early on! Otherwise wait until later - you get a set for free. If you need two copies of her spells, buy some now. Ask her about the missing children and she says that she thinks a dryad took them. Then enter the large tent and talk to Limha. You don't have to fight the barbarians, unless you are honest with them. You'll find yourself in a large area with lots of wolves, trolls and barbarians. Talk to Venla to officially start the quest. The first is to find out where the children have been disappearing to. Since you have no choice in the matter, you will have to undertake three tasks. Suoma demands that you help her village out before she will tell you how to get through the Fell Wood. Once you have these quests lined up, talk to Suoma. Venla, the healer, requires a frostrose, something that you can get only later. If you still have a winter wolf pelt, give it to him. Talk to Jari about his problems to get a quest. Have a sorcerer talk to Pairi to get a quest done right away. You can get a few optional quests in this town too. Nym doesn't stick around for long, so use his services now! Buy the decanter, if it is available, as well as anything else that you may need! The decanter is only available, if you have the bonus disk. A drow merchant named Nym will greet you. The village is in the northeastern corner of the map. They will swarm you, but inch forward to get them all with minimum risk. There seems to be no end to them, but that is normal. Kill them all and then do the same to the northwestern dire wolves. She comes to battle armed with a pair of barbarian warriors and a slow giant. Don't worry about them leaving while you are working for them! This chapter follows the example of any other town-based chapters - the townspeople will only help you, if you solve every single one of their problems!Īs soon as you enter the area, you will be attacked by one of Lysara's henchmen. The small village in this chapter is a small and very nomadic one. I will be splitting up this portion of the chapter by quest, not area. The first part of this chapter sends you back and forth to the Fell Wood. You'll be fighting everything from barbarians to dragons in this chapter, so don't expect an easy time! The third chapter takes your group through extremely cold and hostile areas.
